"The Ant's Lesson: A Tale of Truth and Justice"

An instructive story of an ant __!! 🫀

Allamah Ibn Qayyim (may Allah be pleased with him) has mentioned this incident in his book "Mifta'ah Dar al-Sa'adah". He says that a truthful person narrated his observation to me:

He said that
One day he was sitting under a tree when he saw an ant that came to the wing of a locust and tried to pick it up but could not. After trying several times, it ran towards its camp (bul). In a short time, it appeared from there with an army of ants and took them to the place where the wing was found, as if it wanted to take them away.
Before the ants reached that place, I picked up the wing, so they all searched for the wing there, but when they did not find it, they all went back.
But one ant stayed there and started searching, which was probably the same ant. Meanwhile, I put the feather back in the same place, and when the ant found the same feather again, it ran back to its camp and, after a longer time than before, brought back a few fewer ants than before, as if most people didn't believe it. This time too, when she reached near that place with them, I picked up the wing again and everyone searched for it again for a long time, but when they did not find it, they all went back, and as usual, only one ant kept looking for it there. During this time, I once again placed the same wing in the same place, and the same ant found it and ran towards its camp once again, but this time after a long time, it brought only seven ants. Then I picked up the wing again and the ants searched for the wing for a long time and when they did not find it, they attacked the same ant in anger and tore it to pieces, as if they were angry with her for lying. Then I placed the wing among the ants. As soon as they found the wing, they all gathered around the dead ant, as if they were all sad and ashamed that they had killed this innocent person.
Ibn al-Qayyim says that I went and told this incident to Abu al-Abbas Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him). He said: Allah Almighty has placed in the nature of this ant also the hatred of lies and the punishment of liars...

📚[Shifa' al-Alil by Ibn al-Qayyim (70) Miftah Dar al-Saadah (2/691)]

Subhan Allah, hatred of lies is part of nature. Insects also hate lies and give the death penalty for lying to the people!
Aren't these insects better than those rulers who lie to the people day and night and deceive the people! Don't the people have the same level of pride as these ants to reject the rule of liars and punish them and make a true Muslim their ruler who enforces the truth revealed by Allah upon them!!
